CeBIT is the abbreviation for the Center for Office and Information Technology (German: Centrum der B ü ro und Informationstechnik), also known as the "CeBIT Information and Communication Technology Expo". 

It is an international large-scale exhibition mainly focused on information technology (IT industry) and information engineering (IE industry), held every spring in Hanover, Germany since 1986. The organizer of the exhibition is Deutsche Messe AG (DMAG). CeBIT is the world's largest information and communication engineering exhibition.
